Our Kennel facilities include centrally heated whelping rooms, grooming area and Kitchen. We have a Llewellin puppy viewing area and visitor sitting room.

All of our Llewellin Setters are reviewable in our computer software program which is able to do breeding coefficient studies, relationship printouts and inbreeding listings. We can download and print seven different pedigree formats for any existing dog in the kennel or for any proposed future breeding.

Our outside kennel runs now incorporate a central drainage system piped into a dedicated disposal system. We use a High Pressure washing installation to ensure absolute cleanliness at all times.

All runs are furnished with electrically heated water buckets for even temperature drinking water even on the coldest Pennsylvania nights.

An essential part of the kennel design at Lynnhill is a two acre fenced in exercise area. Every dog has an opportunity to socialize with kennel mates and run in this grassy area for a couple of hours each day.

Of course, we also have a dog training area which is registered with the Pennsylvania Game Commission. Here, we are able to roam over a large acreage and can legally shoot game birds 365 days a year (birds which we release, not wild birds).

We do not offer training services however, we extend an invitation to any buyer of a Lynnhill Setter to use this area at any time. There are no costs beyond paying the wholesale value of any birds shot in training.

Our own breeding dogs are worked regularly on birds, and no dog is bred which has not shown itself to be a competent working gun dog. In order to remain impartial in making a breeding qualified decision we have all of our Llewellin Setters professionally trained and evaluated by an outside trainer. This training is done in the grouse woods of Maine as well as a South Carolina quail plantation.
